Thank you for your support of the
54th Annual Weiss Awards Event!
The New Orleans Council for Community and Justice (NOCCJ) has been serving the Greater New Orleans area since 1943 through advocacy and educational services, including hosting an annual Awards Event for the past 66 years honoring community leaders and activists who promote respect and the value of diversity.
In the past decade, NOCCJ has increased its programming to include cultural diversity workshops and bias awareness education training for the community.
We provide programs and services to youth, school, organizations, corporations and teachers in Orleans, Jefferson, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Tammany Parishes, and Schools in Cut off Louisiana.

Our Mission The New Orleans Council for Community and Justice, founded as The National Conference of Christians and Jews, is a human relations organization dedicated to fighting bias, bigotry and racism in the Greater New Orleans Area.
A Message from Our President NOCCJ has a long and proud history of inspiring Americans to confront bigotry and racism and to create community. Our work is a process which reaches one teenager, one community leader, and one corporate executive at a time with the message that building a better, more inclusive community is everybody's responsibility. |
